Project: Here, There 001

In the Here, There case study, Project 001 (2021), I spearheaded the development of the story and concept, meticulously curating a team of over 30 creatives, including photographers, hair and makeup artists, styling teams, and assistants. As the producer, I orchestrated every phase of the project, starting with comprehensive pre-production planning. This involved detailed location scouting, budgeting, and the creation of timelines, schedules, and call sheets to streamline the process. On-set, I managed the execution of the project, ensuring that all elements were coordinated efficiently and that my creative vision was realized. I also led the casting of 10 Asian-identifying models, prioritizing representation that reflects Vancouver’s diverse community, with a focus on East Asian backgrounds. In post-production, I directed the efforts of the print team—comprising the editor, publisher, and designer—to finalize the digital print edition of Here, There, with a physical print edition currently in development.</sub>
