Essie Hwahyoo Joh  is a Korean-Canadian creative based between Seoul and Vancouver. 

She is the founder of INTER-Agency (est. 2023) and currently leads the Women’s Division at East Casting.

A multidisciplinary creative driven by community and curiosity, Essie approaches projects through visual research, cultural insight, and thoughtful curation—developing concepts from idea to execution. Her practice spans creative production, project management, casting direction, talent management, styling, creative direction, and movement direction.
